Kentucky Board Collaborates with Local AHU’s

It’s good to know that an organization you support – and that supports you in return – operates in the most efficient and effective manner possible.  A few months ago, your State Association Board opened a line of communication with the Local chapters.  Our focus was on the reality that we are stronger together and that opportunities likely exist to improve our collaboration and our mutual success.

I am pleased to share that at this point in the process, we have agreed that better aligning our efforts will benefit every member long-term.  We have agreed in concept that certain roles are best at the State level … while others are best at the Local level.  We have agreed in concept that sharing resources and in some cases, expenses, is the best use of limited funds.  And, finally, we have agreed in concept that this ONE representative association must find new ways to help each of our members to thrive in an ever-changing benefits landscape.

Soon, we hope to announce the culmination of our work – we welcome your feedback – ideas of how we can improve.  What should we start doing?  What should we stop doing?  What should we keep doing?  We are focused on your success and appreciate your continued support!
