Senator Mitch McConnell was our featured speaker for our April monthly luncheon. The meeting was strictly “members only” and we had approximately 80 attendees. It was a great opportunity to meet the Senator and speak with him one-on-one about the specific challenges in our industry related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The Senator addressed many of the issues facing our country related to Obamacare and stressed the importance of changing the personnel in Congress as a key factor in amending the law.
Our May 6th luncheon speaker, Doug McSwain with Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs, will address “ACA: We are we now?” The program has been approved for 1 hour of CE.
